Ram Leela is a popular enactment of the mythological epic, Ramayana. Ram Leela celebra- tion forms an integral part of the cultural life of the Hindi-speaking belt of North India. It is believed that the great saint Tulsidas started the tradition of Ram Lila, the enactment of the story of Lord Ram. The Ramcharitamanas, written by him, forms the basis of Ram Lila performances till today.

The Greater Noida Ram Leela was enacted in the most traditional style. It iwas enacted by professional artists. In Greater Noida it began in 2006 and show was enacted under the Direction of Swami Sushil Ji Maharaj. There was three hour live light-sound-music show. This lively shows had a magnetic effect on the crowd and all over NCR. In Vijay Mahostav 2010 Adarsh Kala Sangam Moradabad artists depicted daily edpisodes of Ramayan. This special Ram Leela of of Greater Noida was organised under the guidance of Swamy Sushil Ji Maharaj and Sardar Manjeet Singh President of the Committee . In year 2009 same team had presented a in a grand manner. The Vijay Mahotsava 2010 was directed by Shri Rakesh Kumar Sharma and Shiv Kala Manch (Mordabad Artists) presented daily edpisodes of Ramayan amidst light-sound effects, music, firecrackers.
